Password Tech 3.4.4 allows protecting password databases by key files in addition to or in place of regular passwords. Moreover, a recovery password (password and/or key file) can be configured for every database, so that the database can be accessed by providing either the conventional master password or the recovery password. For example, a 256-bit key file stored in a secure location (USB flash drive, protected cloud, etc.) could be used as a recovery key, in case the master password is lost (forgotten).

Translators may use the Password Tech Translation Utility (PwTech-TranslUtil version 2.0.0) to create translations (.lng files) from the German.lng template.
